Treating Disease with Holistic Medicine
Short Version: The disease model that is emerging is as follows:
1) The symptom is that which is visible.
2) Underneath or within it, we find most often a chronic infection.
3) Underneath the infection, we find the altered body terrain,
mostly the presence of toxic metals.
4) Underneath that we find unresolved psycho-emotional trauma.
The choice of metal or toxin and its location in the body is created
and guided by the subconscious mind.
End of Short Version
Long Version: The Cause of Disease is unresolved psycho-emotional
trauma according to Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, a medical doctor from
Germany who is a leader in holistic medicine and known throughout
the world for his research. Read this page to discover the fascinating
explanation and the reasons why this is true.
[Dr. Schmidt's words are in brackets. The last paragraph on the
bottom of this page is a great summation of the cause of disease
if you want to skip to the bottom.]
[It is possible to deposit toxins in your body like mercury even
when not chronically exposed from sources such as dental fillings
or polluted fish. Mercury and other toxins are everywhere, they
are in the water we drink or bathe in, the food we eat and the air
we breathe. We are all exposed to toxins all the time. The main
question is: why are some people more affected by these toxins than
others? How are some people able to detoxify their body while others
cannot? The following paragraphs from Dr. Klinghardt describe the
answer.]
Why do patients that are exposed to mercury deposit the toxin in
various areas of their body?
Some deposit the mercury in their hypothalamus (and develop multiple
hormone problems), or in their limbic system (depression). Others
deposit it in the adrenals (fatigue), or in the long bones (osteoporosis,
leukemia). Some deposit it in the pelvis (interstitial cystitis),
in the autonomic and sensory ganglia (chronic pain syndromes); some
in the connective tissue (scleroderma, lupus), or in the cranial
nerves (tinnitus, cataracts, TMJ problems, loss of smell), or in
the muscles (fibromyalgia).
As you would assume, multiple causes can be identified. [They include
but are not limited to the following eight...]
1) Past physical trauma (such as closed head injury) will make
the brain susceptible to becoming a storage site for lead, aluminum
and mercury.
2) Food allergies often cause a low-grade encephalitis or joint
inflammation, setting up those areas to become targets for toxic
deposits.
3) Geopathic stress -- Significant numbers of patients were found
sleeping on underground water lines or too close to electrical equipment.
Metals concentrate in the body regions most compromised.
4) Scars and other foci can create abnormal electrical signals
that can alter the function of the ANS (autonomic nervous system).
The abnormal impulses often cause areas of vasoconstriction and
hypoperfusion, which again become metal storage sites.
5) Structural abnormalities -- TMJ problems and cranio-sacral dysfunctions
often are responsible for impairment of blood flow and lymphatic
drainage in affected areas.
6) Biochemical deficiencies -- If the patient has a chronic zinc
deficiency, the prostate, which has a large turnover of zinc, starts
to incorporate other 2-valent metals (such as Hg++, Pb++).
7) Environmental toxicity (solvents, pesticides, wood preservatives,
etc.) has a synergistic effect with most toxic metals. Metals will
often accumulate in body parts that have been chemically injured
at a prior time.
8) Unresolved psycho-emotional trauma and unresolved problems in
the family system.
This last cause -- unresolved psycho-emotional trauma -- is by
far the most common factor determining where which metal will be
stored in the body and which infectious agent will thrive in what
area of the body. This issue has been underestimated by most, due
to a lack of appropriate, quick and precise therapeutic interventions.[This
is very important!]
[Dr. Klinghardt has] developed a type of biofeedback psychotherapy
called psychoneurobiology (APN). The core of this approach is the
dialogue with the subconscious mind. Any type of ART [Autonomic
Reflex Testing] technique (muscle testing, EAV, brainwave biofeedback,
etc.) may be used to obtain answers and engage in the dialogue [with
the subconscious mind].
[Dr. Schmidt uses holistic (alternative therapy medicine) treatments, an autonomic reflex muscle testing
technique that engages in dialogue with the subconscious mind. See
"Healing Process With Dr. Schmidt" and “Message From Dr. Schmidt”
webpages.]
The technique is aimed at uncovering any unresolved past traumatic
event and processing the material in a way that is healing to both
the patient and their family.
Patients who responded poorly or were unresponsive to prior treatment
with appropriately selected... remedies and detox agents, responded
dramatically by treating the patient first with [ART], thereby unloading
emotional material, correcting limiting beliefs and creating an
opportunity for healing between living and dead family members.
In fact, every parameter of their biochemistry, including bio-terrain
measurements like tissue and blood pH, osmolality, conductivity
but also including hormone levels, mineral levels, etc. move in
a direction toward normal after successful [ART] treatments. Results
are often permanent.
The disease model that is emerging from these observations looks
as follows:
The symptom is that which is visible or apparent and usually the
reason the patient comes to us. Underneath or within it, we find
most often a chronic infection. Underneath the infection, we find
the altered milieu -- mostly the presence of toxic metals. Underneath
that, the reason why it is there (other than the obvious necessary
exposure), the selection of location, the choice of metal -- are
all created and guided by the subconscious mind and determined by
the type, severity and date of unresolved psycho-emotional trauma
or material.
I was pretty scared when she said, "I feel like I want to punch
somebody!" I had been working on this patient for issues relating
to her abusive husband. I was working on one issue energetically
when she started to cry. She asked me, "Why am I crying?" I told
her, "It's the energy work and we are removing that emotion that
is locked inside you." She asked me, "Should I just keep crying?"
My response was, "I don't know, sure." as I handed her some tissue.
I went back to the energy work immediately. She said, "Now, I'm
angry! I feel like I want to punch somebody!" Again, I immediately
went back to the energy work and this emotion was removed. She felt
normal again. She had three distinct emotions arise from within
herself in 90 seconds. The target of the energy work was for her
to not be weak on any issue, including her husband. At her second
visit, positive results were announced but will remain confidential.
A woman came to see me because of an abusive relationship she had
had in the past. Her ex-husband would strike her in the face. She
became very wary of anything getting close to her face. One day
her 4 year old son slapped her in the face. It took her several
hours to cool down. She said that she had not been "in such a place"
for a long time. That meant her state of arousal for fighting had
been extreme and the last time this had happened was many years
ago while she was living with the abusive man. This heightened sense
of fighting was frightening to her. We did holistic (alternative therapy medicine) treatments for a
short period of time. Talking to her on the phone for several weeks
afterwards, she stated that there had been several instances of
her son touching or slapping her face and once he was waving a spatula
around her face. She was okay with all of this and had no emotions
towards those actions.
In the late fall of 2002, a patient was recalling the healing journey
she had taken in the last year. It started with a divorce. She began
weekly and then bi-monthly psycho-therapy sessions for the course
of that year. In that period of time, she had only been through
4 sessions of holistic (alternative therapy medicine) treatments with me to clear relationship issues.
In the end of this journey, she had mentioned that those 4 sessions
were as healing as one year and "many thousands of dollars" worth
of psycho-therapy.
At a health fair, I asked a woman to think of a person that she
didn't like. "Oh, that's easy." she said. I muscle tested her to
determine that it really was an issue for her, and her arm was weak.
I stood behind her to clear the hatred energy she had for this person.
This was an exceptional moment for me because we were in such a
large room, I could really sense how big the energy was that was
being cleared. It was immense over her whole body and it left her
from front to back and from her feet up to the ceiling. I thought
to myself "WOW" when it was happening. When it was done I asked
her how she felt about that person. She said that it was her boss
and now he doesn't really matter anymore! She was very happy about
that, and she told me the same thing several times over the phone
in the following two weeks. She never made it into my office to
be a patient because she had a fear of driving on highways. I should
have cleared her of that first!
